Makis Bekos
Makis Bekos was born in Athens in 1975.
He has been involved in music since the age of 10, learning the clarinet.
His teacher was his uncle Makis Bekos.
At the age of 15 he started his professional career.
He has collaborated with many artists of traditional and folk song.
He has recorded orchestral music, with the titles Dream Journey and Contribution.
From his first years he has turned his interest to gypsy and Balkan music.
